Concept: 

In COHERENCE, the body traverses landscapes of stillness and motion, light and shadow, memory and projection. Through visual contrasts—mirroring, spatial shifts, weight play, and temporal pacing—this Screendance examines the invisible threads connecting time and space, self and other, past and future. Echoing the term’s meaning in both language and physics, COHERENCE suggests a delicate order within apparent chaos: the way distance reveals relationship, or how every movement holds the ghost of its origin.  

The work invites us to consider the body not as a fixed point but as a resonant field—one that folds beginning into end, solitude into reflection.  

COHERENCE is one of the three-part improvisational Screendance series Fieldnotes of a Wandering Body, this piece is a quiet inquiry into how we hold coherence when everything around and within us shifts.
